Mike and I are planning to walk down the aisle around March 10-16th (maybe the 13th) in the Philippines. We hope to see some of you guys there, we know its kinda out of the way and pricey at that... We'll provide housing ^_^ uh, plane fare is kinda... out of our reach ^_^;;; the pay here in Korea is NOT that godly :P

Just saw this on the news.... Has anyone else heard of "Jihad the Musical"?
it seems . . . interesting... catchy music.... I guess, its sorta like "The Producers"?
on youtube just type in Jihad the musical and the first video listed I guess is the theme song :p

Kinda old news over here (2days old), but for those of you Starcraft fans, Blizzard finally caved and announced on Sat. in the Seoul Olympic Stadium that they are making Starcraft 2... when they played the trailer there was a standing applause from the crowd, so said one of my students who had attended >_< lucky guy

Some say teaching English to little kids is the hardest thing to do over here. Little kids have a tendency to drain your energy/life out of you like some blood sucking monster, make you want to reach out and strangle them or jump of a roof to end the misery.... I guess the sad thing is that what everyone told me was mostly true at one point or another.... But, they're soooooo cute!!!! They're like vicious bloodsucking cute little vampies ^_^ and the head/heartache and energy loss are all worth it when they come running into class and give you a big hug/ a nail art sticker/ candy/ chocolate/ and (my favorite) freshly picked flowers from their school grounds ^_^
Kids are sooo worth the effort ^_^ and they're easily bribed into good behavior >:D all you need is a sticker |

Hawos (._.)
Its finally cold over here. Back to fuzzy jackets, scarfies, leggings, numb fingers/cheeks and painful/red ears& or noses >_<
The worst part is that during the summer time I think our heater was working.... Now, well... we press the on button but nothing lights up >:p -sigh- I guess its good that our place is nice and small/cozy because it warms up fast. Just need to cook food or boil water and presto ^_^ the place is warmer. One of the problems about working abroad.... You can't read the directions to the important things in life, say the microwave or the heater ^_^;;
In other news it snowed!!! well, sort of, big fluffy wet snow was falling from the sky but it didn't stick >_< Finally got to see COEX mall (its a huge mall where most of the conventions are held) found out that there's going to be a Star Wars convention there in a couple of days (guess what mike's plans are for next weekend :p ) and that they have a museum for Kimchi in the mall to. We didn't get to see the Kimchi exhibit (we kinda got lost ^_^;), though we found out where the Aquarium was ^_^
-sigh- So many things/places I still have to see and so little nice weather -_-

Weeeee!
Mike finally got paid ^_^ and as a reward he brought me to the electronic mart
It was huge!!!! 3 malls + several side streets filled with electronics! Oh and food/drink/coffee/ice cream stalls scattered throughout the place so just in case you got lost, you wouldn't die of starvation/dehydration among the many shiny stuff that would distract many of us ^_^
Mike only had one thing on his shiny shopping list = an ipod that could play videos. Lucky for him there was 2day sale on ipods at the place, he was able to get the 60gb one for the price of the 30gb ipod ^_^
he's probably going to post more on that later on

Heheh so today's class was interesting, it started off pretty boring. "to+verb or for +verb + ing is the grammar pattern for today" yadee yadee da... then I got the bright idea.. hey today's topic is computers.... so... "Does anyone speak l33t?"... ... and so began my corruption of the English language :p
On another note, I sent out a group e-mail about teaching english here. Basically the school's gonna be losing alot of their foreign teachers from December till February (I think 2 or 3 of them won't be renewing their contracts). So lotsa openings... uhm opening up...
Pros:
-pretty easy work
-lots and lots of free time (I have between 7 and 9 hours free in the middle of the day)
-pay's pretty good
-rent is free
Cons:
-language barrier
-culture difference
-starting money (basically we get paid once a month, and you only get paid after your first full month... payday's on the 15th, so I get my first pay check on Friday)
-odd hours (classes from 6:30am - 9:50am, then 5:00pm - 9:50pm, or 7pm - 9:50pm depending on the day)
anyway, if you're interested you should check it out :) besides we'll be housed in the same area and we can do a Mville does S.Korea thing or sumthin :p

Oha~ everybody!!
Just wanted to let you guys know that we're still alive over here in SKorea. The all powerful and illustrious Otaku no sensei shall be doing/writing most of the posts here while I'll be uploading pics (mostly into my zorpia account tho everynow and then I'll figure out or remember how to post them in here ^_^;) We'll be sending out a group email soon asking for your... eh, what are they called? screenames? whatever :p anyway we already have OnichanC and KuyaF's LJ names
